He may be best known for playing a wiseguy, but Ray Liotta wound up on the wrong side of the law for real thiz outing for an apparently dumb maneuver.
The "Goodfellas" star was busted in Los Angeles thiz on suspicion of driving under the influence.
According to a spokewoman for the LapD, the 52-year-old actor was behind the wheel of his silver Cadillac Escalade SUV when he slammed in to two parked cars a half-mile frm his home in the ritzy coastal enclave of Pacific Palisades at approximately 8:30 p.m. Saturday.
"A private citizen called 911 and arrested Mr. Liotta for misdemeanor DUI," Officer Martha Garcia told E! Online.
No one was injured in the accident, Garcia said.
Liotta was booked at a nearby police station and released after posting a $15,000 bond.
There was no immediate comment Monday frm his publicist, Matt Labov.
A court date has been scheduled for Mar. 19. |
