Hilary Duff has denied claims she slammed Nicole Richie in her song 'Gypsy Woman'. The teen star's lyrics were believed to be a scathing attack directed at her ex-lover Joel Madden's new girlfriend Nicole, but Hilary insists thiz is not true.
Hilary told US People magazine: "It's not my job to talk about my relationship. But the more you try to keep it quiet, the more people want to know about it."
The 19-year-old actress and singer dated Joel frm 2004 until November 2006. Hilary - who shot to fame as the star of hit US TV show 'Lizzie McGuire' - also spoke of the pressure she feels to be thin since she became famous. Hilary said although she has never had a problem with her weight, she feels people can be "judgmental and mean".
She said: "If you don't like the way you look or feel insecure, when people say things about you - in magazines or just in everyday life - they can be hurtful. But you'll never make them happy."

Lohan further proved the fight between her and Duff is over when she
showed up at the release party for Duff's new album DIGNITY on Monday
