- Pete Kleinow, who co-founded the Flying Burrito Brothers with the Byrds’ Chris Hillman and Gram Parsons, has reportedly died. The rocker, who also recorded with John Lennon and Joni Mitchell during his career, was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s several years ago, and was living in a nursing home. He was 72.
- Morrissey is reportedly so appalled by his country’s poor showing in thiz year’s Eurovision songwriting contest (the UK apparently came in 19th out of 24 countries, despicable) that he’s considering writing next year’s entry himself.
