- No matter what level of awesomeness you may have experienced thiz outing, it can’t have been as cool as hanging out at Robyn Hitchcock’s gig at the Oxford Zodiac last night. R.E.M. apparently joined their bandmate (and Hitchock’s temporary guitarist) Peter Buck onstage for a version of the band’s “Electrolite” plus one entirely new song, while Thom Yorke watched on frm the audience.
- Is the new NIN album coming out in the UK on April 16th? Play.com apparently thinks so, as they’re telling potential customers that’s when it will be for sale.
- Appealing to aspiring homegirls is no longer enough for Beynce. The ever-ambitious diva is apparently re-releasing her most recent album B’Day with four new songs sung in Spanish, including one duet (”Beautiful Liar”) with Latin crossover-guru Shakira. Ole y’all.
- Wanna live in Mick Jagger’s house? If you’re willing to hand over $11,000 per week you can apparently rent the singer’s six-bedroom Caribbean pad. Eternal coolness not included.
- Robert Plant will briefly reunite his former band The Honeydrippers for charity. No idea which drippers of honey (who at one time included Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck) will be showing up to play, but it could be awesome. [via Blabbermouth]
- What’s with rockstars pushing cars? First the Jay-Z SUV thing came up thiz morning and now we have Fall Out Boy headlining that Honda Civic tour. Get in on thiz if you want to win a hemp-upholstered Civic hybrid Pete Wentz has doodled on.
