Biography: A tattooed and, more importantly, tremendously talented singer and songwriter, Dilana counts Tina Turner as just one of many of her musical idols. And it's easy to see why. Just as Tina carried the explosive gusto and fierce appeal of the big boys, so does Dilana, a thoughtful and direct woman who immediately communicates serious rocker cred.
Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, Dilana began her singing career at a very young age, finding her way on stage in front of her first audience at the age of 7. From then on, she was music obsessed, leaving school at 16 to sing in a traveling duo and soon, perform in various cover and original bands for a number of years. Leaving, as she called it, years of "madness and violence in the city," she moved frm her homeland and onto the Netherlands in order to further herself and start her own band. A wise decision--playing covers and originals, Dilana's band became one of the country's highest paid and most booked bands. She even opened up for the internationally acclaimed (Dutch) rock band, Golden Earring.
From there she only went up and up, recording her debut album "Wonderfool", which garnered five singles, four music videos (which played on TMF, the MTV of Europe) and loads of touring and festival gigs (over 200!). She also sang titles for two motion pictures and played an especially memorable festival in Belgium alongside Joe Cocker, Heather Nova, K's Choice and other legendary European artists in front of a crowd of over 100,000 people.
Pretty, driven Dilana now lives in the United States where she is enjoying success as a solo act with surely more hits to follow. And we'll follow her. Honestly, Dilana has the power to make us follow her anywhere.

Biography Birth Name(s): Tara Ried Date of Birth: November 8, 1975 Place of Birth: Wyckoff, New Jersey, USA Height: 5' 5 Sex/Type: Female Status: N/A Partner: N/A Profession: Actress Education: Professional Children's School in New York City. Barnstable Academy Tara Ried was born November 8, 1975, in Wyckoff, New Jersey. The daughter of Tom and Donna, both teachers who run a pair of day care centers, Tara was immersed into acting early on. Of Irish, Italian, French, Hungarian, and English descent, Tara may have an All-Amrican look, but she always had the unique look to make her a child actress. She made her debut in a children's television game show, Child's Play, in 1982, and then appeared in commercials for products like Crayola, Jell-O and McDonald's. Joining a class consisting of fellow child actors such as Macaulay Culkin, Jerry O'Connell, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Holly Marie Combs, Tara attended the Professional Children's School in New York, NY. Tara's earlier work includes bit parts in Saved by the Bell: The New Class in 1994, and Days of Our Lives and California Dreams in 1995, once she moved to LA to pursue a full-time acting career. And she took Hollywood by storm. She was cast as Bunny, the much younger wife of The Big Lebowski, in the movie of the same title, in 1998. That same year, she appeared in I Woke Up Early the Day I Died, and had a larger role in the teen thriller, Urban Legend, as a college campus DJ, sharing the screen with Alicia Witt and Rebecca Gayheart. 1999 was Tara's breakthrough year. She appeared in the made-for-TV movie What We Did That Night, and had a small role in the teen-oriented, sensuous film, Cruel Intentions. After roles in Around the Fire and the independent film, Girl, Tara starred as Vicki in the surprise gross-out hit of the year, Amrican Pie, along with sexpot Shannon Elizabeth and the virginal Mena Suvari. Now more of a recognizable star, Tara was seen in 1999's Body Shots, and in the star-studded, Dr. T & the Women. But while 2000 was a quieter year, it was nowhere near boring for Tara, as she met MTV VJ Carson Daly during Spring Break in March, and he proposed in October 2000. 2001 was a big movie year for Tara, with roles in Just Visiting and Josie and the Pussycats, as a third of a female rock group consisting of Rachael Leigh Cook and Rosario Dawson. This summer we'll see Tara reprising her role in the anticipated sequel, Amrican Pie 2, and she will next be seen in Van Wilder: Party Liaison and The Guest.

Sumer Altice was born not in the summer, but in the winter of 1979, two days before Christmas. The relationship endured longer than most expected but alas, Sumer Altice has since found a new beau in Hollywood hunk Vin Diesel.

Biography Birth Name(s): Sophie Danièle Sylvie Maupu Date of Birth: November 17, 1966 Place of Birth: Paris, France Height: 5' 6 Sex/Type: Female Status: Married Partner: Andrzej Zulawski (polish director) Sign: Scorpio Profession: Actor, Model Sophie Marcaeu (née Sophie Maupu) was born November 17, 1966, in Paris, France. Sophie Marcaeu began acting in films at 14. Up until that point, she grew up far away frm studios spots. Back then, she was living in the Paris suburbs and her father was a truck driver. At that time, she learned frm one of her friends that Claude Pinoteau (French director) was looking for new faces, for a teenagers movie call La Boum. This movie turned out to be a huge success. This led to the sequel La Boum 2 (1982) for which she received the 1983 Cesar for Most Promising Actress. She then bought back her contract with Gaumont when she was sixteen for one million French franks. Sophie was honored with the Cesar (French Oscar) for Most Promising Actress, in 1983. Legally tied to her contract with Gaumont, the movie studio she had worked with, Sophie paid one million French francs to buy back her contract when she was 16 years old of course, she had to borrow the money to pay the large sum, but it was worth it for a newly independent Sophie. Sophie then broke away frm the mold of a teenage star and moved onto more dramatic parts, in films such as 1984's Fort Saganne, and Joyeuse Pâques (Happy Easter); 1985's L'Amour Braque (directed by her long-time boyfriend, Andrzej Zulawski) and Police; 1986's Descente aux Enfers (Descent Into Hell); 1988's L'Etudiante (The Student) and Chouans!; and 1989's Mes Nuits Sont Plus Belles Que Vos Jours (My Nights Are More Beautiful Than Your Days), also directed by Andrzej Zulawski. She was named Best Romantic Actress at the 1988 International Festival of Romantic Movies, for her role in Chouans! After a role in Pacific Palisades in 1990 and La Note Bleue, her third film by her companion, Sophie opted for lighter, fluffier roles, such as the comedy Fanfan in 1993 and La Fille de D'Artagnan a year later. She even ventured into theater with her role in Eurydice in 1991, which garnered her a Marceau a Moliere Award for Most Promising Newcomer. She took to the stage again in 1994, as Eliza Dolittle in Pygmalion. But it was her role as Princess Isabelle in the Oscar-winning epic, Braveheart, that made international audiences take notice of the French beauty. The same year that Braveheart madness was in the air, Sophie went behind the camera for a 9-minute film, L'Aube a L'envers, which opened for a film at the Cannes Film Festival. While Sophie tries to stay away frm the Hollywood scene and not get caught up in the circuit, she has an impressive resume of Amrican films such as her co-starring role in the David Spade comedy, Lost & Found and William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, along with Michelle Pfeiffer and Calista Flockhart. In 1999, she jumped to Bond Girl status as Elektra King, starring opposite Pierce Brosnan in the 19th Bond outing, The World Is Not Enough. Since her Bond fame, Sophie has starred in the French films La Fidélité, again under the direction of Zulawski and Belphégor Le Fantôme Du Louvre. On July 24th, 1995, Sophie gave birth to her first child, a boy named Vincent. She is unmarried, and lives in Paris with Andrzej Zulawski, a Polish director who is 24 years her senior. Sophie is an outspoken opponent of blood sports, and has joined Brigitte Bardot in protests against dove shooting in the Gironde and bullfighting in Provence. In addition to her work for animal welfare, Sophie is a patron of Arc-en-Ciel ("Rainbow"), an organization which helps sick children realize their dreams.

Biography:A pert, brunette ingenue who teased the men of "Beverly Hills, 90210" for four seasons, Kathleen Robertson played Clare Arnold on the Fox TV series frm 1994-97, with her character departing Southern California for France. Around the time she chose to leave the series, the actress was on the big screen as a trashy lesbian in Gregg Araki's visually striking "Nowhere" (1997).
Born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, Robertson began to study acting, voice, and dance at age 10. She was still in her teens when she played Tina Edison, the genius daughter, in "Maniac Mansions", a TV series about a family of inventors which aired in the USA on "The Family Channel" (1990-93). In 1992, Robertson had a co-starring role in the Canadian feature "Lapse of Memory" and when she was invited to Los Angeles for its screening, she decided to remain and try her luck in Hollywood. Although only 19 years old, she acclimated quickly and within less than a year, had played a young woman threatened by the plague in "Quiet Killer" (CBS, 1992) and a young woman who, along with Stefanie Powers, was threatened by a street gang in "Survive the Night" (USA Network, 1993). Robertson was also a girl who catches the eye of a troubled teen in "Liar's Edge" (Showtime, 1992) and a rather seductive young woman in "Blown Away" (HBO, 1993).
But it was the role of the somewhat bitchy Clare Arnold, added in part to fill the void created by the departure of Shannen Doherty, that brought her attention. During her tenure on the show, the character interacted with ..xx ....ll major regulars: she romanced Brandon (Jason Priestley) roomed with Kelly and Donna (Jenny Garth and Tori Spelling) and had liaisons with both David and Steve (Brian Austin Greene and Ian Ziering). Since her decision to leave the series coincided with the release of "Nowhere", undoubtedly Robertson hoped that the film might open new avenues in her career. She did receive additional publicity when she was linked romantically with its director, Gregg Araki, who had previously self-identified as a gay man.
While Robertson's film career did not immediately rocket her into stardom, she enjoyed a steady flow of roles throughout the rest of the nineties and through the millenium. She starred in the Sally Field directed project "Beautiful" in 2000 and co-starred in the teen flick "Scary Movie 2" in 2001. In 2003, Robertson starred in the independent film "XX/YY" which premiered at Sundance. Perhaps signaling a desire to take on more challenging roles, Roberston played a woman who embarks on a three-way relationship with two male college friends, only to find it haunting her ten years later.

Biography:Pretty, dark-haired actress Jessica Beil impressed viewers with her realistic portrayal of teenager Mary Camden, the mostly level-headed eldest daughter of a progressive minister, on The WB's family drama "7th Heaven" (1996- ). A familiar face to the teen set through her work on the popular series and her numerous magazine covers, Biel was cast opposite heartthrob Jonathan Taylor Thomas in the 1998 holidah film "I'll Be Home For Christmas", playing his well-grounded and assertive girlfriend Allie. Her first film role was in "Ulee's Gold" (1997), starring Peter Fonda, in which she played Fonda's troubled granddaughter Casey, a departure frm her "7th Heaven" role.
The taught, toned Biel raised eyebrows when she posed semi-nude for a cover and photo layout for Gear magazine as a teen in an attempt to shed her wholesome image and, possibly, be released frm her TV contract. She ultimately negotiated a reduced, recurring role on the series and branched further into features, playing Freddie Prinze Jr.'s fantasy rich girl and adding a bit of sexy zest to the otherwise dreary baseball comedy "Summer Catch." She next took on her edgiest projects yet, appearing as promiscuous college student Lara Halleran in writer-director Roger Avary's blunt, sex-soaked adaptation of Brett Easton Ellis' novel "The Rules of Attraction" (2002) and as Erin, the central scream queen of the hit 2003 remake of "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre."
In “Cellular” (2004), Biel played the spurned romantic interest of a man (Chris Evans) who gets thrown into a high-stakes chase after receiving a random call on his cell phone. Thankfully, her small part in thiz forgettable action-thriller went virtually unnoticed, with no harm done to her career. Meanwhile, the young actress appeared in “Blade: Trinity” (2004), the third installment in the popular B-movie franchise. Biel played Abigail Whistler, leader of a group of human vampire hunters who team up with Blade (Wesley Snipes) to do battle with Dracula and his gang of undead thugs. Early reviews indicated that the flick was for fans only: a videogame plot, loud soundtrack, and ADD-induced editing might turn off mainstream audiences. Biel's next effort was "Stealth" (2005), a stupefyingly lowbrow cross between "Top Gun" and "2001" as a female fighter pilot of a new generation stealth plane who also manages to slip into a bikini for the film. A much better career move was a smaller supporting role in writer-director Cameron Crowe's romantic comedy "Elizabethtown" (2005), as the beautiful girlfriend of a whiz-kid athletic shoe designer (Orlando Bloom) whose ardor cools when he experiences a colossal failure.
