How does a star reignite a career? Sometimes all it takes is a flaming skull, cool choppers and Eva Mendez' cleavage.
Certainly, the combination worked wonders for Nicolas Cage with his skull-, chopper- and cleavage-graced "Ghost Rider" burning up the four-day holidah-outing box office with a hot $51.5 million, according to estimates Monday frm Exhibitor Relations.
The debut figured to put Cage on track for his biggest hit since 2004's "National Treasure."
Here's a rundown of the top 10 films based on Friday-Monday estimates compiled by Exhibitor Relations:
1. "Ghost Rider," $51.5 million
2. "Bridge to Terabithia," $29 million
3. "Norbit," $20.7 million
4. "Music and Lyrics," $16 million
5. "Tyler Perry's Daddy's Little Girls," $14.3 million

Ray Liotta: Goodfella, Lousy Driver

He may be best known for playing a wiseguy, but Ray Liotta wound up on the wrong side of the law for real thiz outing for an apparently dumb maneuver.
The "Goodfellas" star was busted in Los Angeles thiz on suspicion of driving under the influence.
According to a spokewoman for the LapD, the 52-year-old actor was behind the wheel of his silver Cadillac Escalade SUV when he slammed in to two parked cars a half-mile frm his home in the ritzy coastal enclave of Pacific Palisades at approximately 8:30 p.m. Saturday.
"A private citizen called 911 and arrested Mr. Liotta for misdemeanor DUI," Officer Martha Garcia told E! Online.
No one was injured in the accident, Garcia said.
Liotta was booked at a nearby police station and released after posting a $15,000 bond.
There was no immediate comment Monday frm his publicist, Matt Labov.
A court date has been scheduled for Mar. 19. |

Brittney Spears' locks could soon be on the block.
One of the owners of the salon where the "Oops" singer shaved her head Friday exclusively tells E! News' Giuliana DePandi that Spears' shorn tresses were saved and may be sold for a good cause.
"She didn't want her hair. We have it here at the salon and we will probably auction it off for charity," said JT Tognozzi, co-owner of Esther's Hair Cutting Studio in Tarzana, California.
Tognozzi didn't elaborate on a timetable for any auction or which charity might be the beneficiary of Spears' mane. |

Smith's Body Embalmed, Locked Up

Her final resting place in limbo, Anna Nichole Smith's body was embalmed Saturday and then locked away in a medical examiner's office.
After being searched for cameras and signing statements promising not to talk about, write about or draw any images of the model's corpse, two embalmers frm a Fort Lauderdale funeral parlor began the work about 9:15 a.m. and finished around noon.
"They did a good job, and the body's able to be viewed," Dr. Joshua Perper, the Broward constituency medical examiner, told the Miami Herald. "She will look virtually like she looked in real life."
Following the embalming, Smith's body was placed in a black body bag and sealed with evidence tape, Perper said, and then stored in a refrigerated room.
''The body's well under lock and key and inaccessible to anybody who doesn't have the key,'' Perper said.
The judge has called for more hearings beginning Tuesday to determine who will take custody of the remains. |

You could say France made his jour.
President Jacques Chirac on Saturday named Clint Eastwood a knight in the Legion of Honor, one of the country's highest accolades for a noncitizen and ranking the Oscar winner right up there with Jerry Lewis.
"France of course wants to pay homage to your immense talent as an actor, your genius as a director and to your place in the world of cinema," Chirac said during a ceremony at the chairmanial Elysee Palace. "You show the complexity of Amrica, in all its grandeur and fragility, with its enthusiastic dreams and its worried questioning."
Eastwood accepted the honor with the same humility and grace that has marked his 50-year-career in movies.
"I've just finished being a Japanese director on a film and my great ambition one day is to do a French film, become a French director," the filmmaker said, referring to "Letters From Iwo Jima," his latest film spoken entirely in Japanese. |

Michael Richards a No-Show for Mock Trial

Micheal Richards expected it to be a mediation. Not a media circus.
The former "Seinfeld" star was a no-show Saturday for a mock trial in Los Angeles to address jos racial tirade during a stand-up routine last November.
The event was organized by celebrity attorney Gloria Allred, who is representing the four African-Amricans Richards targeted with the N-word, and took place at Loyola Law School.
Richards' lawyer, Douglas Mirell, said his client sought numerous "opportunities to apologize to all who were offended by his words," but declined to participate in Saturday's event because Allred ignored state guidelines for how such an "important personal dialogue" should be carried out in favor of organizing a "Jerry Springer-style publicity stunt."
Allred, meanwhile, said she was tired of waiting for Richards to show up as promised with a meeting with her clients. |

Is the party over for Brittney Spears? Or was it merely interrupted?
Reports swirled Friday that the increasingly pooped-looking pop star was in rehab. But there was no confirmation frm the singer's camp, only conflicting reports that Spears was already out of rehab.
According to "Extra," which first advanced the rehab story, Spears checked into an unidentified treatment facility about two days ago.
Later, both TMZ and People reported that while had Spears checked into a treatment facility, she'd checked out a day later.
The site of the "Toxic" singer's reputedly brief stay was the Eric Clapton-founded Crossroads Centre on the Caribbean island of Antigua, People said. |

Lindsay Lohan Checks Out of Rehab

Lindsay Lohan's Wonderland days are over.
The "Mean Girls" star "has finished her stay at Wonderland and will continue the program as an outpatient," rep Leslie Sloane Zelnik said Friday in a statement to E! Online's Marc Malkin.
"She is taking it one day at a time, as she is in it for the long time. She asks that [we] respect her privacy."
According to Zelnik, the 20-year-old starlet, who checked into the Wonderland Center in Los Angeles' Laurel Canyon neighborhood Jan. 18, had been spending most of her days on the set of her latest film, the thriller "I Know Who Killed Me," and then returning to the treatment facility at night. |

Gwyneth Paltrow braved icy weather and a bad cold to host a charity diamond
auction on Thursday (02.15.07).
The 34-year-old actress refused to let her illness deter her frm attending
the event at New York's St. Regis hotel.
The charity auction was raising money for the city's first Hope Lodge, which
will provide free housing for adult cancer patients during their treatment.
She told USA Today newspaper: "It's for a really good cause. This has been
planned for a long time, so I couldn't take a sick day today."
Gwyneth's father Bruce died in 2002 after losing his battle to throat
cancer.
She added: "My life has been affected by cancer in so many different ways.
When my father had cancer, he found it so isolating. It's very difficult to
empathize with it if you haven't gone through it."
The Oscar-winning star - who is married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin -
also confessed she was excited about going back to work after spending the
last two years raising Apple, two, and Moses, 10 months.
She is currently filming 'The Good Night', her brother Jake's directorial
debut, and is also set to star in 'Iron Man' alongside Robert Downey Jr.
She added: "I haven't done a real part in a long time. I'm going back to
work now.
"When I had kids, I just wanted to be with them. But doing one movie a year
makes you more interesting as a person and wife and mother." |

Kim Mathers Says Eminem Has a Small One

In an explosive interview with WKQI-FM's (95.5) "Mojo in the Morning" show today, Eminem's ex-wife Kim Mathers flipped the tables on Em and cleaned out her closet live on the air for all to hear.
"I can't stand him. He's an absolutely horrible person, and he gets worse every day," Mathers said. "I vomit in my mouth whenever I'm around him or I hear his name. There's nothing left in me for him. Nothing at all."
She categorized sex with her twice ex-husband as "bad," and said "he's not very well endowed." She added, "If you're going to have sex with Marshall, make sure you have a little blue pill, because otherwise it does not work."
Mathers said Em text-messaged her on Thursday when he heard she was going to appear on the "Mojo in the Morning" show and blasted her for going on the air.
She also said she almost killed herself because of him. See the video.
